    Ambassadors:  This committee serves as the public relation arm of the Chamber. This professional business group works within the membership serving as a liaison between membership and community. Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at different member locations. Individuals interested in becoming an Ambassador need to submit an application for consideration.

    Agri-Business:  The Chamber's Agri-Business Committee is responsible for organization and management of the Steak Fry In the Country Event; held the first Thursday of the month in August.  This event raises  funds for the Chamber's Agri-Business Scholarships and to support Ag Education. Meetings: Third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 a.m.

    Education:  The education committee reviews local issues impacting our educational system as well as work to identify issues the Chamber board may need to address.  Meetings are scheduled as needed. 

    Golf Outing:  The golf committee helps Chamber staff schedule the annual golf outing, which is a fundraiser for the Charles G. Farnham Business Scholarship.  Committee members can assist with obtaining sponsors, procure raffle prizes from other Chamber members as well as volunteer the day of the event.  Meetings: Meetings are from January to June.

    Hispanic Business Leaders:  The committee serves as an outreach between the Chamber and Hispanic Business owners in the community.  This group is responsible for planning special bilingual events for area Hispanic business owners.  Meetings: Second Friday of each month at Noon. 

    Professional Women's Network:  The PWN was created to facilitate more interaction and networking among Sauk Valley Area's female professionals.  While not exclusive to females there is also not any age requirement to participate in this Chamber group.  The PWN hosts quarterly luncheons focusing on a number of issues important to today's female professionals.  Meetings: Quarterly at noon. 2023 dates: February 15, May 17, August 16, November 15.

    Sights & Sounds:  Individuals involved in this committee help the Chamber plan the holiday events for downtown Sterling.  The Chamber works with Sterling Main Street to plan the holiday calendar including the annual parade.  These events are held the week before Thanksgiving.  Other events that week include the annual Toys for Tots drive by drop-off event held outside the Chamber's office and the community concert hosted by the First Congregational Church.  Meetings: Second Wednesday at Noon from August to December.
