Fiesta Day Parade

UPDATE 9/19: CANCELLED

PARADE CANCELLED.

Under guidance from Sterling and Rock Falls police departments, we have unfortunately made the tough decision to cancel today's parade due to weather.
We are truly sorry to have to make this announcement. We know how much time, energy, and excitement our participants, volunteers, and community put into this event each year. However, the safety of our community, parade participants, and spectators must come first.
There is not a rain date, due to the extensive coordination required with IDOT, law enforcement, and our community partners. We appreciate your understanding and support as we make this decision with the safety of our community in mind.
Thank you to everyone who helped prepare for this year’s celebration, and we hope to see you back with us next year!

  • Annual scholarships for local students
  • A mentoring initiative connecting HBLC members with area youth
  • Bilingual financial literacy programming for students
  • Bilingual FAFSA completion nights for parents and students
