Peace, Justice, Freedom, and Dignity 5K
Sign up for YWCA of the Sauk Valley's Peace, Justice, Freedom, and Dignity 5K! Runners and walkers welcome. Strollers will be allowed and will start after runners and walkers. No pets are allowed at this event. Registration will begin at 7:00AM in the Main Shelter at Sinnissippi Park with awards ceremony following the 5K. Forms and payment can be picked up and dropped off at the YWCA of the Sauk Valley: 412 1st Ave, Sterling, IL. You can also sign up online: https://bit.ly/2IOkcDV The YWCA of the Sauk Valley’s mission is to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote Peace, Justice, Freedom and Dignity for all. The YWCA provides free services for Whiteside and Lee Counties. Services include assistance to victims of domestic violence, victims of sexual violence, career assistance, counseling services, and after-school programs for empowering young girls in the community.
