ROCK FALLS TOURISM HOSTS A BALD EAGLE TALK AT THE LOWER DAM
ROCK FALLS, IL
The public is invited to come to the Lower Dam, 300 East 1st Street, Rock Falls, on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 10:00 am.
Alyssa Parker, Outdoor Education Assistant Coordinator from Lorado Taft Field Campus in Oregon, IL will give a 45-minute talk on the Bald Eagles. The event is free and welcomes all ages.
Winter is an excellent time in Rock Falls to see migrating Bald Eagles gathered along the open waters near the dams. So, bring your binoculars and camera, dress warmly, and be ready to learn a lot about the Bald Eagle. You will be asked to abide by the COVID restrictions with masks and social distancing.
